A first-of-its-kind angel investing network to catalyze local capital and back high-potential Philippine enterprises through customised incubation, technical assistance, and investment readiness to prepare to raise capital.
Villgro and xchange have combined their decades
of experience investing in impact entrepreneurs to address key gaps in the Philippine ecosystem. The Impact Pioneers Network is jointly designed, developed, and managed by Villgro and xchange.
Our members are high net worth individuals (HNWIs), family offices, corporations, and foundations that believe in the power of entrepreneurship to solve pressing social and environmental challenges.
Our Vision
We aim to fund 100 impact enterprises in the next five years. We hope to contribute to sustainable poverty reduction in the Philippines and build a more resilient, inclusive, and equitable country.
What
We
Offer
Deal Sourcing
We will scout and source deals from across the Philippines in priority sectors from our active network of pipeline partners across the country.
Due Diligence
All enterprises will go through a detailed due diligence process, including external validation, legal and compliance diligence, before any investment is made by the network.
End-to-end deal closure
We will handle all services and related paperwork required in deal closure, from sourcing to investment and reporting. We will monitor and ensure that enterprises share key business updates on a periodic basis, as well as collect impact metrics for annual impact reports.
Learning Services
We will take members through a 10-week learn-by-doing impact investing journey with peer investors. We will hold regular learning sessions for Impact Pioneers on impact investing and related topics to keep abreast of latest developments in the sector.
Networking Opportunities
Members get access to our network of local investors and global ecosystem players and curated events to connect with them. We will have our own platform to showcase enterprises, bring together investors, technical assistance service providers, and relevant learning resources.

Villgro and xchange are leveraging their decades of experience to leapfrog the impact ecosystem through the Impact Pioneers Network.
Having backed many pioneering impact entrepreneurs since 2001, Villgro has deployed over USD 11 million to over 350 enterprises in India, impacting 20 million lives and counting. In the Philippines, they have supported 38 enterprises across education, agriculture, affordable housing, healthcare, energy, and women and girls.
xchange has funded, mentored, and supported many of the pioneering impact enterprises in the Philippines such as Rags2Riches, Hapinoy, Bayani Brew. They continue working with and investing in impact enterprises and have supported 14 enterprises since 2011.
